An Independent, Coed, Friends School, Nursery Through Grade 12

Learning in Community

A Shared Enterprise

Learning at Moses Brown School is a shared enterprise, and we are defined by the relationships between our students, advisors and teachers, staff, and families. Through our commitment to applying Quaker values, we ask and listen respectfully, we grant grace in the process of learning, and we delight in the growth of others. Because of this commitment, our diverse community is strong enough to hold hundreds of unique and independent-minded people.

Cross-Divisional and Intergenerational

At a nursery through grade 12 school, while the academic journey for students in each division is distinct, cross-divisional collaborations are common, and intergenerational experiences in and out of the classroom are impactful. And whether their Moses Brown journey begins in elementary school, middle school, or high school, students are met where they are with challenge and support.

Dialogue and Diversity

We celebrate our school community and its diversity in a way that focuses on what brings us together versus what pushes us apart. The diversity of perspective and experience that all members of our community bring to the learning process is essential to foster the type of dialogue and reflection that is an integral part of a Quaker education.
