Moses Brown School provides rich and robust academic experiences within and across each of its three divisions: Upper School (grades 9-12), Middle School (grades 5-8) and Lower School (Nursery through grade 4)

Moses Brown has a proven tradition of academic excellence and a commitment to great teaching. We offer an incredibly varied and rigorous academic program. In upper and middle schools, students benefit from exceptional advisory programs, collaborative and innovative teachers, and courses that provide challenge as well as breadth and depth of learning, both within and across academic disciplines. Our younger students benefit from our co-teaching model with two teachers per class and dedicated time with subject matter experts in art, math, music, science and Spanish.

At a nursery through grade 12 school, while the academic journey for students in each division is distinct, cross-divisional collaborations are common, and intergenerational experiences in and out of the classroom are impactful. And whether their Moses Brown journey begins in elementary school, middle school, or high school, students are met where they are with challenge and support.
